Rob Darby is a senior associate at Fenno Law Firm, where he practices litigation, intellectual property, and technology law. His intellectual property practice includes trademark and copyright registration, licensing, and enforcement. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Darby spent four years in California working at Irell & Manella, a high-stakes litigation firm, where he assisted clients through all stages of civil litigation – including on intellectual property, fraud, employment, and consumer protection matters. A native of Charleston, Mr. Darby has also worked at Charleston Legal Access, a non-profit law firm where he provided legal representation in a variety of civil litigation matters to moderate and low-income clients. He has also worked at a private equity company and has a South Carolina real estate broker’s license.

Mr. Darby graduated from Clemson University magna cum laude with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and in the Top 15% of his class from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology.
